My journey into therapeutic massage began in 2007 when I successfully completed my certification for massage therapy through the National Massage Institute. The following year I went on to get my certification as a personal trainer. After gaining experience and knowledge I went back to the National Massage Institute, only this time as an instructor. I taught massage therapy classes for 2 years before continuing in my own massage therapy journey. Before opening Stevenson Therapeutic Massage, I got my Medical Massage Certification in 2018. I'm certified in Neuromuscular Evaluation & Treatment of the Back, Neuromuscular Evaluation & Treatment of the Neck, Neuromuscular Evaluation & Treatment of the Upper and Lower Extremity, and Postural Distortion & Pain. I got my Certification in Lypossage in 2023. Got my Certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Advance Lymphatic Drainage in 2024. Eventually, I decided it was time for me to start my own massage therapy business, August 2019. Having my own massage therapy business allows me to create a schedule that works better for me and therefore my customer.
